The present directory contains a paper called Fields with several commuting derivations, giving in geometric fashion the model-companion of the theory of fields (in arbitrary characteristic) with a given finite number of commuting derivations. This work corrects the paper Differential forms in the model theory of differential fields (Journal of Symbolic Logic vol. 68, no 3, Sept. 2003).

The LaTeX file here uses the asl documentclass. When I attempted to submit the file to the ArXiv, I found that this does not have the asl documentclass. So I went back and converted the paper to use the amsdoc documentclass; the results are in the directory ArXiv.

However, the version in the present directory has been (mildly) edited since the version for the ArXiv was created.
