Antalya Algebra Days IX
- (2007.06.27) There are some photographs from the meeting. (You may contribute some if you wish.)
- (2007.05.16) The timetable for the conference is available. (It will be distributed at the conference in Antalya.)
- (2007.05.09) The registration fee is 25 euros for non-student participants, 10 euros for students and 15 euros for accompanying people. Invited speakers and some PhD students are exempt. Participants should have received this and related information by email.
- (2007.04.06) Those who have applied to attend the meeting should have heard from us.
- (2007.03.29) Those who have applied to give a presentation should have heard from us by now.
- (2007.03.29) TÜBİTAK is dilatory in responding to our grant request; we now hope to have an answer by April 15.
- (2007.03.29) Brian Hartley's daughter, Catherine Barber-Brown, will visit our meeting and speak about her father on Friday evening, after dinner; this will be an opportunity for others to share their memories also, if they wish.
We shall meet in Antalya Hotel, and we shall use the services of Tivrona Tours, as in the last several years. Although the registration fee remains to be determined, prices for room and full board will be as last year: for each day, for each person:
- € 37, in a single room;
- € 25, in a double room;
- € 22, in a triple room.
The deadline for applications to attend the ninth Antalya Algebra Days is March 2, 2007. The application form is in a separate text file. As interest in AAD has grown over the years, but the meeting room has not, we may not be able to accommodate everybody who wants to attend. Applicants who are accepted will receive an e-mail later in March. Those who are not accepted, or who apply after the March 2 deadline, will be put on a waiting list.
The deadline for submitting abstracts for contributed talks and posters is also March 2, 2007. See the guidelines.
