General Information:
The workshop will be composed of two parts:
i) Instructional part on functional -
analytic methods in complex analysis:
- Partial complex derivatives in
distributional sense,
- Weakly and strongly singular
integral operators of complex analysis,
- Foundations of the theory
of generalized analytic functions.
ii) Recent trends in applications of
complex methods to partial differential equa
tions.
The number
of participants is restricted. People interested in the workshop should
apply for registration before June 20, 1998. The Organizing Committee
will offer the possibility of presenting short communications in 30 minute
talks. Applicants are requested to hand in the topic together with a summary.
There
is a guest-house in the campus of METU. Upon request a room to be
shared with 2 or 3 people can be reserved. Daily living expenses (including
lodging)
will be approximately 20 USD.
A limited amount of support may be provided for a partial cover of living
ex-
penses.
