The main responsibility of the Hiring and Recruitment Committee is to advice the about hiring highly qualified new faculty as to uphold the standards and the values of the department. For this purpose, with proper consultation, the committee develops the necessary and appropriate qualifications and criterias for positions at all levels, strieves to develop a pool of outstanding applicants, and after the preliminary study of the applications advises the chair about the selection of the appropriate candidates.
