Configuration of Automatic Mcafee Virus Update via FTP

Step 1:

In order to run VirusScan Console, double click "Mcafee Virus Scan icon"
and double click the "AutoUpdate" as indicated below:

First Press the "Configure" Button and then "Edit":

Check "Enabled" option and select "FTP from a remote network computer".
Under the title "Enter an FTP computer name and directory", write

ftp://ftp.metu.edu.tr/popular/virus-updates/mcafee/

Check " Use anonymous FTP" and press "OK" button.

Step 3

Step 4:

For the schedule staff, press "Schedule"
and check "Enable" . Then under the "Run", select "Daily" option and
then "Start At" write any time you prefer.

Finally, press "OK" button to finalize configuration process.
