It is known that S-boxes are important nonlinear parts of the block cipher systems. There are several construction methods of S-boxes in the literature. In this thesis we shall discuss a method proposed by Jennifer Seberry, Xian-Mo Zhang and Yuliang Zheng. These authors show that S-boxes constructed by their method satisfy a number of crucially important cryptographic properties. We provide three examples to such S-boxes and justify that mentioned properties are fulfilled.

S-kutuları blok şifreleme sistemlerinin doğrusal olmayan önemli parçalarıdır. Literatürde S-kutularının üretimi için birçok metod bulunmaktadır. Bu tezde Jennifer Seberry, Xian-Mo Zhang ve Yuliang Zheng tarafından ileri sürülen ve Hadamard matrislerini temel alan bir metod tartışılmaktadır. Bu metodla üretilen S-kutularının birçok önemli kriptografik özelliği sağladığı, yazarları tarafından gösterilmiştir. Bu tür S-kutuları için üç örnek bu çalışmada üretilerek, bahsedilen özellikleri sağladıkları doğrulanmaktadır.
